Eben habe ich meine ausgearbeitete Turnierzuckerbrücke präsentiert. Dies war auch der grund, weshalb in den letzten Tagen hier etwas ruhe eingekehrt ist. Die Brücke spannt über 45m und hat eine Statische Höhe von 3,3m in der Mitte. Das statische System ist ein Fachwerkträger. Die dreieckigen “Rippen” werden zur Mitte hin steiler und ergeben eine optimalere statische Höhe. Auf Anfrage gibst auch mehr Bilder und Zeichnungen.

Just now i presented my “sugar-bridge”. The task was to pull a kg of sugar over a bridge of cardboard. And only cardboard! No Glue, Staples or wires allowed. only 1mm cardboard. Did a good job i think and lasered a framework. A triangular beam like a Toblerone box with frames. I made 3 of them and they where about 15g each. 3 could stand the 1kg of sugar easily, but 2 failed. With a little bit more effort i could make 2 to stand the 1kg.
Now I had to transfer the static system to a “real” bridge, which spans 45m. I turned the beam upside down and edited it. the result is a very light steel bridge for pedestrians and bikes.
