Jetzt ist es endlich mal soweit, in lauschiger Bierzeltatmosphäre wohnte ich der Vollversammlung meines Fachbereichs im provisorischen Zelt auf der Lichtwiese bei. Es fehlte nurnoch die Dicke-Backen-Musik und eine Dame in Dirndl, die 12 Maß stemmen kann. Aber leider war das Highlight ein schreiender Vortragender, der den Verwirrten Studenten das Bachelor und Master System erklärte und wie und wo man sich seine Sachen für das Diplom rauspicken kann. Leider kochen viele Professoren ihr eigenes Süppchen und es herrscht Chaos. Wenn man es noch nicht einmal schafft seine Angebote online auf der Fachbereichsseite online stellen kann, wie soll es dann ein Student schaffen sich sein Stundenplan zusammenzustellen!? Alles Neu! Alles Besser? Ich bekam auf meine Frage zu diesem Problem die Antwort: “Früher war es doch genauso ein Chaos!” Danke.

Now I got to experience the temporary (Beer-)tent at the Lichtwiese in Darmstadt. The new Bachelor and Master programm was introduced the third time. But from now on all the courses are following the Master system. Anyhow, most of the students have to take Master courses, but have to finish with their “Diplom” degree. New system, old seminars – and everyone is confused, because not all the professors follow the new schedule. This semester we can transform all the courses to compulsory seminars and we can switch to bachelor, but then I would loose at least 1 year, because a master desing class is not offered yet. Anyone can do anything and gets points for whaterver. Chaos! Thanks.
